Delete Your SocioRank Data

You have the right to request deletion of all personal data SocioRank holds about you. This page explains how automatic and manual deletion work, and lets you submit a deletion request directly.

1Automatic Deletion via Facebook

The easiest way to remove SocioRank's access and trigger automatic data deletion is to disconnect the app directly through Facebook:

  1. Go to Facebook Settings
  2. Navigate to Security and Login → Apps and Websites
  3. Find SocioRank and click Remove

When you remove the app, Meta automatically sends us a deletion signal. All your data — including your Facebook access token, cached ranking scores, and profile information — will be removed from our systems within 30 days.

2What Gets Deleted

Upon receiving a deletion request, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

  • Facebook access token — Your OAuth token used to read your friend list.
  • Cached ranking scores — Your SocioRank score and your contacts' scores.
  • Profile data — Your Facebook display name and profile picture URL.
  • Contact list — The ranked list of Facebook friends from your scan.

3Confirmation

After we process your deletion request, you will receive a confirmation email within 72 hours. The email will confirm that all your data has been permanently removed from our systems.
