Privacy Policy

When you connect your Facebook account, SocioRank requests access to the following data through Facebook's official OAuth system:

• Name and profile picture — your public Facebook display name and profile photo, used to identify your account in the ranking dashboard.
• Friends list — the list of friends who have also authorized SocioRank (Facebook only returns mutual app users, not your full friend list).
• Public interaction signals — publicly available engagement data (likes, comments) used to compute influence scores.

We do not collect your password, private messages, email address from Facebook, phone number, or any sensitive personal data. We request read-only permissions only and never post or modify anything on your behalf.

Your data is used solely to compute your SocioRank influence score. Specifically:

• We analyze your authorized friend list to calculate relative influence rankings.
• We generate a ranked dashboard showing which contacts have the highest influence score.
• We display your profile name and picture in the results view.

Your data is never sold to third parties, used for advertising, shared with external companies, or used for any purpose other than computing and displaying your personal influence ranking.

Access tokens are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption. Raw Facebook data (friend lists, interaction signals) is processed in-memory to compute rankings and is not permanently stored after the ranking computation is complete.

Computed ranking results (scores and ranked contact lists) may be cached in our database to serve your results dashboard. This cached data does not include raw Facebook API responses.

• Access tokens are kept only for the duration of your active session and discarded when the session ends.
• Ranking scores and results may be cached for up to 30 days to allow you to revisit your dashboard.
• Profile data (name, profile picture URL) is stored only as part of your cached ranking result and is subject to the same 30-day retention.

You can request deletion of all your data at any time by emailing privacy@sociorank.app or using our Data Deletion page.

SocioRank uses the following third-party services:

• Facebook Login (Meta Platforms, Inc.)— for authenticating users and fetching authorized friend data. Facebook's own Data Policy governs the data they collect on their end.
• Stripe (via NanoCorp) — for processing one-time payments. Stripe handles all payment data; SocioRank never sees or stores your credit card information.

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correction — request that inaccurate data be corrected.
• Deletion — request that all your data be permanently deleted from our systems.
